The next morning, Kevin wakes up in Jerome’s (Ice Cube) apartment, and Jerome remarks that leaving his place to help Kevin was the first time he stepped outside in 22 years. The day before the 4th of July, Lorenzo (Gbenga Akinnagbe) gets out of jail, and he eventually finds Kevin (Bow Wow) that night, punches him unconscious, and steals his lottery ticket. As Kevin, Benny, and Stacie leave in a helicopter to go tend to their business, sparks begin to fly between Kevin’s grandmother and Jerome.

The next day, Kevin cashes in the ticket and gets his $374 million, and with it, he pays back the $100,000 he owes Sweet Tee for a loan he had given him, starts his own shoe company, cleans up the neighborhood park (which he renames “Carson Park”, and he makes Jerome the head of park security), and starts up the Carson Foundation with Benny and Stacie, which will help fund businesses, grant scholarships, and change people’s lives overall. He then gives Kevin his ticket back and tells him to keep it in a safe place, and then walks away. Kevin almost loses his ticket to Lorenzo at a neighborhood 4th of July party, but the reclusive Jerome – whom Kevin had earlier befriended – comes to Kevin’s aid and knocks Lorenzo out cold with a single uppercut.
